Our goal is to develop perfect EDC pocket knives and to manufacture them completely in Germany according to the highest standards.
Encouraged by the success of the AK1, a collaboration with the Böker Manufaktur Solingen, we have gone one step further and produce the AK2 completely in house. Only the hardening is left to the professionals. Made from the most popular knife steels such as RWL 34, Böhler M390 or CPM-Magnacut, our fixed blades are up to any everyday task.
The blades of the AK1 are manufactured for us by Böker in Solingen. Following the successful principle of Daily Customs, you can purchase your favorite configuration of handle scales and other accessories to go with your favorite blade.
The AK in our model names stands for Alex Kremer, the young knifemaker and designer known in the scene. As "Kremer Werkzeuge" he builds custom knives that enjoy a high demand. But his knives are not meant to end as "safe queens". It's for a reason that he chose the name "Kremer Werkzeuge" (Werkzeuge = tools) for his brand. His EDC knives manage the perfect balancing act between compact design and fully functioning cutting tool.
And for all those who want to give their production AK the finishing touch, we offer so-called reworks (regrinds), in which Alex Kremer personally lends a hand. With his uncompromising regrinds, he made a name for himself early on in the knife scene. The blades are given a finer grind, a new cutting bevel and, depending on the design, a decorative swedge and various finishes. This makes the AK an absolutely unique piece.
Together with a practical Kydex sheath or an exclusive leather sheath from DP Steel and Leather, nothing stands in the way of your next everyday adventure.
