AK1 American Tanto N690
Description
AK1 American Tanto N690
American Tanto EDC knife made of Böhler N690
The new variant of our AK1. Alex Kremer has interpreted the American Tanto as a new blade shape. This modern form of the classic Tanto blade convinces with its precise lines, which result in a secondary point and a second blade bevel. The use of Böhler N690 steel and the fixed lanyard tab allow us to offer this model at a particularly affordable price - while still being "made in Germany". Of course, the new family member also blends in with our modular system as usual.
The American Tanto comes with either a rugged stonewash finish (exclusively with us) or a decorative two tone finish. The handle scales shown as well as a matching kydex sheath are available separately from us.
Important Note:
With screwed handle scales, it is generally possible for moisture to be drawn between the tang and the scales via the hands. A fine layer of rust sometimes can appear here. This can only be seen when the scales are removed and does not affect the quality of the knife in any way. We recommend applying a few drops of food-safe mineral oil (e.g. Ballistol) to this area to prevent the process.
Each blade is delivered with a complete set of hardware.
If handle scales are also ordered, we will ship the knife fully assembled.
