91 mm SAK Scales

Our 91.2 Plain Canvas Micarta versions are available in green and black. These variations are applicable to all medium Swiss pocketknives with a total length of 91 mm.

Micarta is a composite made of a fabric, such as linen, soaked in synthetic resin. When fully cured, Micarta can be processed precisely. It is very popular due to a combination of low weight and high robustness.

Front and back scale are always included in the delivery, regardless of your material selection.

We recommend that you use two-component epoxy adhesive in order to fit the scales to your SAK.

It is also possible to have us install this set of scales on a brand-new Swiss pocketknife. You need to add both, the scales and the respective knife, to your cart. All available 91 mm SAK models can be found here.

Important Note:

We ship our Micarta products untreated. For vibrant colors, the surface can be treated with a mineral oil, the material also develops a natural patina through use. Due to the woven fabrics, no two scales are identical. Variations in color and texture are also possible.

When fitting the scales to a knife, it is important to keep an eye on the applied pressure. If too much pressure is applied, the knife’s rivets will push through the Micarta and will be visible on the outside as Micarta is softer than any of our metals.
